Saraki loses offer to stop his CCT trial


Senate President Bukola Saraki toward the beginning of today lost his offer to prevent CCT from going ahead with his trial. Equity Abdul Kafarati of the government high court, Abuja, released Saraki's Fundamental Human rights suit testing the ward of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to attempt him over asserted bogus affirmation of benefits while he was Governor of Kwara state.

Equity Kafarati released Saraki's suit expressing it needed in legitimacy.



"It appears to me all that the candidate is attempting to do is to stop his criminal trial at CCT. The CCT is an equipped court to attempt the criminal matters," he held.

This court can't meddle with the case at the tribunal which has energy to attempt cases. It is not fitting for the candidate to approach this court. This case is therefore dismissed."the judge said
