Resident Doctors Begin Nationwide Strike On Thursday


The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) will on Thursday, June 9, leave on an across the country strike, the National President of the affiliation, Dr. Muhammad Askira, has uncovered.

Askira said the choice to go on strike was taken at the normal general meeting of the National Executive Council of the affiliation held between May 30 and June 5 in Jos, Plateau State.

The NARD president reviewed that 16 out of 58 elected tertiary organizations or focuses were exempted from the underlying focus based strike as a consequence of the dedication of the Chief Medical Directors of the influenced wellbeing foundations to execute the national government's mandates.
