Divorce: 21yrs Old Marriage Dissolved Over Wife's Poor Cooking


An Igando Customary Court in Lagos has broken down a 21-year-old marriage over spouse's poor cooking. 


Conveying his judgment, the court's President, Mr Adegboyega Omilola said the
solicitor, 54yrs old Ashimiyu Abiodun, was determined in spite of intervention for him to reexamine his better half, Aisha Abiodun for their marriage.

The judge said; "Subsequent to the solicitor has demanded divorce after a few mediations, the court must choose between limited options than to break up the union regardless of the spouse's case that despite everything she adores her significant other. 

"The court affirmed the marriage between Ashimiyu Abiodun and Aisha Abiodun broke down today; both sides, from this time forward, stopped to be a couple. 

"Both are allowed to go their different routes with no obstructions or attack," Omilola ruled. 

NAN reports that prior, the candidate, Mr Ashimiyu Abiodun had drawn closer the court and requesting that it break down his 21-year-old marriage over his better half's claimed poor cooking. 

"My better half did not know how to cook, her sustenance are bland. At whatever time she cooked and I whined about her sustenance, she would instruct me to cook myself. What's more, I began cooking my sustenance in light of the fact that in the event that I had kept eating her nourishment, I may have fallen debilitated," he said. 

Abiodun said, "My significant other was exceptionally grimy; she would not wash or compass the house, all around in the house used to smell. 

"She continued pressing utilized plates for four days or more without washing them and I was continually doing the cleaning. Aisha would go out each Friday and returned on Sunday evening. Amid weekdays, she would leave home by 7am and returned at midnight and I challenged not inquiry her. 

"Aisha had turned my kids against me, they had quit regarding me and she would not permit me to right them at whatever point they failed. 

"On a few events, my significant other and my first child had torn my garments in people in general when I needed to beat him for his wrong doing," he said. 

Abiodun said his better half was lethargic saying she demolished the shop he prepared for her on three events. 

In any case, Aisha, 46, a launderer, said, "I didn't know why my significant other quit eating my sustenance. I attempted my best to give him great sustenance yet he was continually grumbling that my nourishment was bland. 

"I was not grimy as I was continually cleaning the house," she said. 

Aisha encouraged the court not to allow the separation, saying 'despite everything I cherish him'. However, the spouse cannot. Dismal!
