SS2 Student Leader Of Robbery Gang Arrested In Cross Rivers.


The Cross River State Police Command has captured a Senior Secondary School, SS 2 understudy, Christian Donatus, otherwise known as Inyang, accepted to be the pioneer of a burglary group. 


Donatus, an understudy of Eastern Secondary School, Ediba, Calabar, the state
capital, had supposedly driven his syndicate to attack a shop, Value Mart, possessed by the previous First Lady of the state, Obioma Imoke, two weeks prior. The associate was paraded close by one with his accessories, Ubong Bassey Essien, on Wednesday before newsmen at the Command's base camp.

Parading the 19-year-old man, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ms. Irene Ugbo, said the suspect who hails from Akokwa, Imo State, had been threatening different parts of the city, attacking homes, shops and suburbanites and confiscating them of their resources. 

She said, "The group shot a medicinal specialist at Akim Qua three weeks back furthermore trucked away safes at a shop along Marian Road, containing extensive entireties of cash. "The associate and one with his individuals were captured on July 16 by agents of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS. 

"Endeavors have been heightened to find four different individuals from the posse who are on the run and we trust that soon they will be captured and conveyed to book. "These ones in our care will soon show up in court," the PPRO included.
