A 64-year-old minister recognized as Gabriel Olakitan was Wednesday dragged under the watchful eye of an Ogba Magistrates Court for purportedly cheating a specialist, distinguished just as Cornelius of N3 million in Ayobo, Lagos.
The blamed purportedly sold a plot for area which had been given over to him by a
London-based companion, Bayo, to the businessperson for N3 million and had issued the representative a receipt to that impact.
Bayo was said to have given the minister the real estate parcel to offer for N2.9m, however in the wake of gathering N3m from the agent, Olakitan just paid N1m into Bayo's record.
Nonetheless, inconvenience began when Bayo came to Nigeria at some point in 2014 and purportedly halted laborers enlisted by Cornelius to clear weeds on the area for development.

The police prosecutor, Inspector E. Ayomide, told the court that the blamed was charged on two checks verging on extortion.
Olakitan argued not blameworthy to the charges.
The directing judge, Mrs. O.J. Awope, conceded him safeguard in the entirety of N500, 000 with two sureties in like aggregate.
Awope dismissed the case to August 12, for notice.
