RRS arrested 15 theft suspects, recovers Computers


The agents of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos Police Command have captured 15 associates over the taking with 7 sets of PC and its embellishments at a Shomolu based state funded school pretty much as they recuperated 4 smaller than normal portable PCs, a Laser Jet scanner, a desktop and a printer having a place with the school.


The suspects were captured on Wednesday morning when RRS Intelligence Team
discovered a lead that one of the suspects was prowling in a gaming shop at 29, Awoseni Streets, Shomolu.

On cross examination, the suspect, who ended up being a purchaser of one of the stolen small scale tablets particularly intended for optional school students, prompted the capture of the central suspect and 13 others.

The lead suspect, Yinka Adesola, 19, a competitor, unveiled that one Julius Akinyele, 20 (still everywhere), a telephone repairer, who he obliged, brought seven smaller than usual tablets, 1 scanner, 1 desktop, a CPU and a LaserJet printer having a place with a mainstream government funded school for keep in his loft.

The suspects, Kazeem Adenuga, 24; Owolabi Yusuph, 35; Wasiu Shodipe, 27; Samson Kareem, 34 and Sheriff Badru, 22, were captured when examiners found that they were included in constant brutality in Awoseni Street on Tuesday night. The eleven suspects have all been exchanged to SCID for further examinations.

Affirming the occurrence, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, expressed that the Command was leaving no stone unturn towards diminishing wrongdoing in the state and make it alright for speculation.
