Fayose Has No Right To Ban Cattle Grazing In Ekiti – Fulani Herdsmen

Former President of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders' Association (MACBAN), Alhaji Bello Ardo, has said that the Fulani have a privilege to move uninhibitedly and conduct their business the country over scene.

Ardo said this in test of Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose's request forbidding
herders from raising dairy cattle in any piece of Ekiti State.

As per Ardo, there are territories in Ekiti and different parts of Nigeria that have been gazetted by the Federal Government as assigned zones for steers brushing.

"He doesn't have the power to boycott cows munching in Ekiti. Fulani will move it in court.

"He doesn't have any privilege to boycott assigned touching zones in Ekiti; there are brushing territories all over Nigeria and those touching zones are gazetted by the Federal Government.

"He doesn't have the privilege to say that Fulani can't raise steers through the woods; we are going to test this in court.

"We are just barely listening to the news however soon, we will provoke it fittingly," Ardo said.
