The Lagos State Government, in an announcement marked by Bola Akin evaluation, Deputy executive, Public undertakings, Min.of Justice on Wednesday consented to an arrangement for the foundation of a DNA Forensic Center in the State.
Talking at the official consenting to of the arrangement between the State Government and ITSI Bioscience LCC in
Alausa, the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, said that the Lagos State DNA Forensics Center (LSDFC) is a one of a kind measurable procedure that is presently being utilized everywhere throughout the world and it is gone for accomplishing the developing DNA needs of criminal examination.
He said the consented to arrangement was in satisfaction of the State Government's arrangement to build up a DNA Forensic Center in the State to encourage instant and viable arraignment of criminal exercises.
The Center, as indicated by the Attorney-General, would help examination on residential and sexual brutality cases, support family and paternity procedures, help in recognizing casualties of common and man-made debacles furthermore be an instrument for the legal framework.
Kazeem said that the Center would be outfitted with best in class hardware to bolster all levels of DNA gathering from individuals and items, proof examination, DNA investigation and give evidential DNA stockpiling.
